Upcoming Events

We host regular writing, drawing, and storytelling events in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Drop-In Writing Groups

Our drop-in writing groups offer unique exercises to get you started, dedicated space to write, and optional time to share.

In addition to having reliably scheduled time to focus on your practice, you’ll also have the chance to expand your writing community, and make connections that’ll support your practice into the future.

Even better: the drop-in style means each class is self-contained—there’s no outside work, and you can come at whatever frequency best suit your schedule/interest. Drop in when you can; we’ll be here.

Drop-ins meet every other Tuesday from 7-9pm at Little Egg in Crown Heights.

Custom Collaborations

We’ve led workshops and events for museums, non-profits, neighborhood organizations, and schools. Each one is built to meet the specific needs and interests of the given community, with a focus on discovery, accessibility, and art-making as a social practice.

Previous partnerships include ekphrastic writing nights for exhibitions at Museum of the City of New York and the Institute for Contemporary Photography, family programming at Weeksville Heritage Center, and creative writing classes at Community Access.

Josh provided a safe and positive space for our tenants and participants to work on their creative writing. The workshops have been a wonderful addition to our wellness programming.
